When you enter the house, you are greeted by a big room of white walls and mahogany floors. To the right, there is a large living room. The furnishings are classic, in various shades of blue, grey and brown.
Next to the living room there is a bathroom, with gleaming tiles from heath in shades of sea-green.In the meantime I'll just have to admire this gorgeous tile bathroom designed by brooklyn interior designer, adrienne labelle (you can check out adrienne’s home right here). I love the playful flower design of the tiles (which is actually a pattern from bisazza)- it has such a cheerful feel to it. This certainly beats getting out of the shower to a sea of dingy grey tiles.
When you've in through the front door and head up the stairs, you find two bedrooms. One is the master bedroom, and it has a very sturdy Hästens bed. The covers are blue and green. Next to the master bedroom there is a small balcony and another small bathroom. The other bedroom is a nursery for future children or guests. More rooms can also be added if needed.
Overall, my house would be a mix of classic and retro designs. The kitchen shouldn't look too polished so as to give it a "lived-in" grandma's kitchen feel. The other rooms should be comfortable, livable, but still stylish.

And if there was ever a house that I have dreamed of it would be a something simple a Ranch style or Townhouse design of some sort.
I have always loved the look and feel of the Ranch style, its so practical being only 2 levels and typically the basement being an area that can be refinished into a great room(s) to host gatherings of the family or perfect for kids to play or whatever.
As far what my dream house would have inside of it, it would have new everything period, and of course who would not want all the perks to go along with it like speakers in every room controlled from a central location, big comfy furniture, central air, nice big water heater so you can always get that “hot” shower, the big fluffy beds with the big fluffy pillows.
The floors in my dream house would be wood for sure, probably something along the lines of a golden stain or something to go with a real country house feel.
The location of my dream house would be anywhere but the city, (parking stinks) but if I had to pick somewhere I think the country would be only appropriate, somewhere where there are other kids but not a trillion of them crawling all over the streets.
It would also have to be somewhere that they have great schools as I want my family to have every opportunity to succeed as possible.
This is what I can only dream to have someday, but who knows with hard work and a good attitude anything is possible.
