两句话意思一样,都是“他发现商场关门了”.但是两句话不一样的句子结构,前一句是单句；后一句带有从句,是个复句.
第一句主语he 谓语 found 宾语the mall 宾语补足语closed（关门了）,宾语补足语对宾语起修饰作用
第二句主语he 谓语found 后面就没有宾语了,而是用一个宾语从句（that the mall was closed）当宾语,而宾语从句本身又具备一套完整的句子结构,主语the mall 谓语系动词 was 表语closed
所以你不明白的关键在于句子结构问题,你想想如果把was closed 填进去,一个句子岂不是有两个谓语?不合语法啊
