Ladies and gentlemen,
My topic today is "I like Olympic Games !"
It is well know that Beijing was voted as the host city of the Summer Olympic Game in 2008 .Until now ,I can't forget that sense all my life --when the Chinese heard " the Games of 29th Olympaid in 2008 are awarded to the city of Beijing !”announced by Samaranch ,the Chinese cried out with tears in their eyes .“Beijing won the bid for the 2008 Summer Olympics !” “Beijing has succeeded !”
Yes ,I want to say ,I like Olympic Game !Yes ,I want to say the Chinese have realized their Olympic dream !
As a college student ,what should I do right now Next Summer ,Beijing will host the Olympic Games .More and more foreign visitors will come to Beijing .Our capital will need thousands of volunteers .We can apply to be a volunteer .This is a good chance to be broaden our horizons ,and to show Chinese college students’ enthusiasm to the rest of the world .In short ,the important thing that I want to say is that we should work on learning English .It is right that we should feel a sense of history and of confidence in the future !

Olympic ad Me
I am looking forward to the days coming of Aug.8TH 2008,the day Beijing Olympic games will be opened,the day Sports family gather in beijing,and the day All the Chinese feel proud.
As a littke host ,I really want to be honorable volunteer for it,however,I am still too young to be a real volunteer ,but I can still contribute for it (according as I am able)
First ,as a citizen of Beijing,I will welcome every friend from all over the world with my enthusiasm and smile to show us beijing people’s friendship and hospitality.And let theforeigh friends know(feel) Beijing from the smile on our face
Then/second,I will study English harder.During the Olympic Games ,I can communicate with the foreigh friends in english and serve for them such as to be a interpreter and show them the way,let them love beijing more from our enthusiastic help
Third,I will learn more knowadge about Beijing and The Olympic Games in order to introduce the beautiful beijing to foreigners and its long history and splendor culture in the future.Let them Kow more about China by talking to each Beijinger
At last I will mobilize every students around me to learn civilized manners andstrenth the consciousness of theprotecting the enivoement .we should do from now on for beijing Olympic Game to be a real Green Olympics,humanities Olympics,technology Olympics

My View on Environmental protection
As the 2008 Olympic Games is drawing near, a key issue – environment protection is put on high agenda by our government. Since nowadays the environment pollution is increasingly threatening to people’s lives and the environment we live in is becoming from bad to worse to some extent, environmental protection has become a main concern to common people . However, what measures should we ,common people take to protect environment is the most important. As far as I am concerned, environment protection can be worked on from following aspects.
For one thing, to reduce some unnecessary rubbishes in our daily life, such as using less plastic bags when shopping , refusing to use consumable chopsticks , and using the chargeable batteries instead of consumable ones. In this way, the garbage will be less and less .
In addition , some energy-saving appliances, such as energy saving lamp and energy-saving refrigerator, should be widely used in our daily life, despite higher cost than common ones. Some energy-saving appliances are a kind of products that really not only help people save money in the long run but it will conserve a lot of energies for our country.
Thirdly, some awareness of environmental protection should raised among our common people. If all of the people are well aware of the importance of environment protection , our environment will become less polluted and there will be blue sky we can see, and green grass and flowers we can appreciate everywhere.
In a nutshell, environmental protection is not only what the government concerns about, but what our common people attach great importance to.
