First,the professor does not think reestablish Torreya in the same place where it used to be live in is a brilliant idea.She says since the climate of the large region has been changed maybe because of the globle warming,those regions are getting dryer that are no longer suitable for Torreya to grow.
Second,the reading passage claims that they also can move the trees to an totally different place where is far away from the native habitat.But the professor does not think this will work,either.She uses an example to explain that may damage the local ecological envorriment where they move the tree to.Like the scientists used to move one type of endangerous trees to a different location to try to save it from extinction,while,this did help the tree,but it separated so quikly,and killed the other types local tree includ one type is also endangerous.
Finally,the author of the reading passage believes that move Torreya to researh centers to pretect is also a doable way.While the professor totally disagree with this,she says,Torreya will not be able to resist the disease in the research centers and also the reasearch centers do not have the ablilty to take care of those trees.It is totally impracticable.
